Chelsea are not ruling out a permanent deal for Trevoh Chalobah. Who could cost at least £40m, despite recalling him from Crystal Palace to address his defensive issues.

Chelsea ended Chalobah’s loan spell with Crystal Palace and recalled him last week to provide an alternative to Enzo Maresca at centre-back following เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile.

The Ufabet reported that Chelsea have not ruled out selling Chalobah during the remaining period of the January transfer window if they receive an offer of no less than £40m. However, if that does not happen, there are no plans to sell him at this time.

Chalobah has been on loan at Crystal Palace for the 2024-25 season and has impressed, making 14 regular appearances, but the loss of Chelsea’s two centre-backs has prompted Maresca to recall him.

Crystal Palace are left with no choice but to meet Chalobah’s asking price, as well as the 25-year-old’s wages in the region of £7m a year.

However the south Londoners are not willing to pay this new asking price which would easily smash their transfer record, currently held by Christian Benteke following his £27m move from Liverpool in 2017.

Furthermore, Chalobah’s salary, a reported £7m-a-year, would also make him Palace’s highest earner and is consider too expensive by the Premier League club.

The Eagles have not suffered at all since Chalobah’s unexpected departure, recording back-to-back 2-0 away wins at Leicester and West Ham.
