Wolfsburg have made a loan offer for Brentford’s Denmark right-back Mads Roerslev and are awaiting a response from the Premier League club.

Ufabet Germany, report that Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have shown a strong interest in Roerslev and have now made a loan offer for the Denmark international right-back to Brentford.

Roerslev has been a regular right-back for head coach Thomas Frank’s Brentford side this season, making 22 appearances in all competitions, including 10 Premier League starts and eight as a substitute.

The 25-year-old right-back is contracted to Brentford until June 2026, meaning he will enter the final year of his current deal at the end of the season. So the Bees are not ruling out Wolfsburg’s interest.

The right-back could provide cover at right-back following the departure of the versatile Ridle Baku to RB Leipzig.

Wolfsburg have also shown an interest in Freiburg’s Kiliann Sildillia. But now appear to have turned their attention to Roerslev as talks with the Breisgau outfit have stalled.

Meanwhile, Brentford are also trying to negotiate a deal for Fiorentina right-back Michael Kayode, who has been a substitute in Raffaele Palladino’s side this season.
